Meet Winston

He fits through a doorway. Barely.

Winston comes up to about your knee — roughly the height of a golden retriever, and roughly the weight of one who has had a very big lunch. He walks on a harness, he greets absolutely everyone, and he is unshakably convinced that every bakery is expecting him.

Most days he goes somewhere ordinary — a park, a bus stop, a market. What happens next is never quite ordinary.
